Thanks for the topical question. It comes from Iran which has a better understanding of its own military capability than Western sources. I'm sure Western sources write a lot of things about Pakistan too, but we Iranians have better sense than to believe them all.

You see there is still yet any proof to be seen about the existence of more than 25-26 Mikoyan-29s in the IRIAF. Jet numbers is not something one can hide and expose one day, each jet created in this world is numbered and accounted for, even if Russia itself claims there is 200 Mikoyans in IRIAF I am inclined not to believe it without solid backing.

Just look at the design of this thing , its a foreign engine and a terrible looking , terrible car. We can make our own car easily but no point , because we have joint production of ford , renault etc in turkey which reduces price for them and its hard to get a big market , look at that khodro or whatever its only sold to a few countries as a cheap car.

Someone producing more cars means? Also you quoted target markets . I still havent seen one in turkey or europe or anywhere else , probably syria and lebanon lol.

Plus listen , if turkey wants we can make a great car , in anyway europeon standards easily that we can even export to somecountries , but why should we when the engine is foreign like that khodro , and plus when big businessman have partnerships with ford and renault etc they dont want a national car , because it will drop their sales aswell .
