The last time it was Persian, Uzbek and Indian science as well as cultural influence of all West Asian nations that made the region strong, not Islam. Islam has never done anything, just like Christianity has never done anything or Judaism etc...

Middle Easterners are for the most part asss backward creatures. We have a ton of them in Iran too. The relgious folk in Iran are just a more peaceful version of arabs across the pond, but that's pretty much the only difference. Ignorance and asss backwardness is a trait of the so called muslims of the region. The only people with a shred of decency, culture and humanity are the more liberal ones who just want to see their countries progress and advance.

I don't Know how a discussion on T.V Show being halted became a Iran Bashing Thread . At the end of the Iran belongs to Iranians and They will do Whatever is good for their Country . They Felt Monarchy is not Good for their country they brought Islamic Revolution Changing the entire political order of their country . Iran- Iraq war was a clear showcase of how much Arab countries hate Iran ( Providing funds for Iraq , Giving Aid etc) . Iran Stood it's ground . If tomorrow Iranians feel current political order is not good for their country they have the courage to bring a Change Again . Even after the hostilities shown by it's neighbors first After Islamic Revolution Iran Held on it's own , now even during Sanctions and demonizing campaigns by western media Iran is holding on to what it believes in . This shows the kind of culture they come from and this is why i really have high regards for Iranians . Also during my stay for a few days at Mahl-I-Zan, Āz̄Ārbāyjān-E Gharbī, Iran ( Sorry if i have written it incorrect) i came to know a few ppl and they were warm heart fellows who knew religion is a personal opinion and everybody has right to respect their own .
