Iran Turns Down Clinton's Offer for Iran-US Direct Talks

you honestly care what the ''world'' says or think about Iran ? last time i checked Iran was favored in majority of the muslim countries, like yourself said they dont buy US BS about Iran anymore.
Last time I checked the share of the Muslim countries in the world's economy, science and military industry (the thing's they produce on their own, not the things they buy), is less than 10% (If not <5%) while the US alone holds around 20% of the world's GDP (add the EU share to that and you'll see that almost half of the world's GDP is in the hands of the USA and its allies). And I doubt that Iran is favored in countries like Saudi Arabia, Jordan or even Palestine that we've supported them since 3 decades ago.
Regarding your first sentence, Of course I do care what the world thinks about Iran. You don't care? Is it OK if Iran becomes more isolated and a Pariah state? Do you know why Iran's tourism industry has never grown since the revolution while Iran is one of the TOP 10 potential touristic destinations in the world due to its numerous historical sites, diversified nature and different culture?

Btw, Didnt Ahmadinejad send Obama a letter, which Obama never responded to it ? Why doesnt he correspond directly with the president of Iran or Khamenei ? Hmm, i smell israeli blocking lo l
So what? Do you think we'll send our president to hold direct talks with some representatives of the US? Of course no. Why Iran sent Jalili, the secretary of Iran's supreme national security council to hold direct talks with P5+1 (and the US as well) directly in Geneva? You didn't answer this one.

Mate, if today the issue is the nuclear program, tomorrow will be about the ''Iranian plot'' to kill ambassadors, next week will be about Iran aiding Taliban. They are accusing us constantly and you want us to talk with them ?

Absolutely right. The United States tries to deceive the world that their opposition to Iran is solely about the nuclear issue. The nuclear issue came to light in about 2002, then why has Iran been sanctioned for 32 years? If it's not the nuclear issue, it's "destabilising the region", it is supporting Hezbollah blah blah as long as Iran refuses to be a vassal state of the United States and keeps an independent foreign policy, Iran will always be accused of being a state-sponsor of terror and what ever other rubbish America brings But if tomorrow Iran hosts American military bases and succumb to their own interests, Iran will be a paradise, a "champion of human rights".

But in my opinion Iran's leaders are strategically inept, their history of foreign policy and many enemies is a testament to this. I think they should accept a huge economic/trade package that guarantees supply of uranium, investment in their oil and gas industry and even nuclear civilian reactors in exchange for suspension of enrichment for maybe 10-12 years. This way, Iran can start integrating its self into the global economy again, build its economy & military with the proceeds, and then it will be much harder for the US to rally support against Iran next time around. If Iran accepted the trade deal offered to them by the Germans and EU in 2002-4 (forgot), they could've started uranium enrichment as early as next year. Iran's policy is coming at a huge economic cost, they should put ideology aside and be more pragmatic, because the Saudi Royal Family and enemies of Iran are getting exactly what they want and Iran is falling for it.
