That's the most illogical thing I've heard yet.
These islands belonged to us for thousands of years before the Brits took em over in the 1920's. Who cares what you lot were doing. The Brits then gave administrative rights to some backwater nobody had ever heard of and we eventually got it back in the 70's. Guess what? It wasn't theirs to give to you.
That you need to get into your skull.
It's a very simple concept actually. It's like I come and take over your house and then give it to some bum on the corner of the street. Later that bum is kicked to the curb again but instead of going on his merry way, he starts screaming bloody murder and asking for the house back, the house that wasn't even his!!!
**** off.
International documents clearly show that the three islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa which were historically owned by Iran, temporarily fell to British control in 1903. The islands were returned to Iran based on an agreement in 1971 before the UAE was born.
Under international law, no state can defy any agreement, which came into being before its establishment.
that is why the UNSC rejected the UAE case and that is why Iran ignores UAE call to bring it up to the UNSC knowing that it will be a waste of time
