hmmm.......like???
I don't see Iran taking over their 20 odd nuclear aircraft carriers, or their 1000s of nukes, or even take hostage a few million Americans.
What you call America's arms are not even a tissue, and US sheds millions of tissues everyday and grows them back again in minutes.
We both are not militry strategist to comment or debate on that but let me put an equation and some questions here.
Population of Afghanistan: 34,385,068
Population of Iran: 73,973,630
USA lost its war to Afghans when some 30%-35% of Afghans were supporting them.
What is %age of Iranians who are supporting USA? ~0%
What is %age of Iranians who USA is going to offend? ~100%
What is capacity of Iran as compared to Afghanistan?
What is capacity of USA today as compared to what it had when it attack Afghanistan?
What was the "baring capacity" of USA when it had attack Afghanistan?
What is the "baring capacity" of USA today when it is looking to attack Iran ?
What could Afghanistan do diplomatically and financially against USA?
What can Iran do diplomatically and financially against USA?
What is the chance that an attack on it would nullify iran's capacity to make a nuclear weapon?
What is chance of Iran hitting Israel with a nuclear weapon once it has received a scar from Israel?
What is at stake for USA and NATO in terms of their regional interests other than Iran and Israel?

and the most interesting aspect is how long do you think Iran would resist and finally accept that it was attacked, its people got killed but that is okay and it should accept a defeat and rest and look forward without developing a nuclear weapon ????????????????????? If you know basics about Iranians, you know this is never gona happen.
Not a single aspect of equation goes in US or Israel's favour.. and that is only why you hear "we will attack" and "we will supply oil to israeli jets" news. If they could attack iran they would have done so years ago and we would be talking differently on different topics today.
