In no Sunni areas do we have any violence and no-go area's for Iranian security forces do not exist in our country, unlike in your country where Pakistani security forces, civilians and infrastructure are regularly attacked by rebels and criminals, both ethnic and Islamic.

Do you realize how ridiculous this sounds? On one hand Iran is complaining about "kidnappings, crime, executions and terrorist attacks" on her soil (which points to the fact that Iran herself has "no-go areas"), and on the other here you are claiming that Iran has no problems whatsoever in her Baloch areas, and that all of this trouble is only "along the border".

Just this morning i was reading in the news that a number of Pakistanis were kidnapped and shot dead deep inside Balouch territory in your country. In Iran, terrorist attacks always take place on border areas with Pakistan, they dont take place in the rest of Sistan-Balouchestan province.

These terrorist attacks, like the ones on Pakistan's Shia citizens, are committed by Baloch and Sunni sectarian terrorist groups that the Pakistani State is herself at war with, which is why allegations from the Iranian side like the ones recently anger so many in Pakistan.

You have massive law and order problems in Pakistan. Your country is full of roaming bands of criminals and terrorists. Iranian forces can help clear your border areas of terrorists. Why Pakistanis do not want this help is very suspicious for us. It is Iranian lives that are prepared to be put at risk to clear border areas on your side of terrorists and criminals. Any sane, normal people that are not able to do this for themselves should be thanking Iran that Iranian forces are prepared to do this for you.

Pakistan's massive law and order problems are for her to deal with - Iranian cross-border raids are not going to help. What Iran can do is use those resources she is claiming she has to carry out cross-border raids to bolster the border on the Iranian side. First show us how exactly Iran can seal the border like she wants Pakistan to do, and then perhaps Pakistan can engage with Iran and implement the same policies (where feasible) on her side.

No they dont. Zambelis writes speculative pieces for American think-tanks by piecing together bits of information he reads from the newswires, Iranian press and what he can find from blogs run by Pakistan-based terrorist groups. He has never been to Iran. He is not an "international" observer or researcher. This article isnt even research, its speculation he's drawn from news reports and what he has read on social-media belonging to terrorists. Read the references, he makes no secret of this.

Iran's problem is with cross-border terrorism from Pakistan, that is why Iranian security forces want either:

a) Pakistan to re-establish law and order on its side of the border and clear the area of terrorists and criminals.

or

b) Iranian security forces want to cross the border and clear the area of criminals and terrorist cells themselves whenever their border patrols are ambushed and come under attack.

The majority of terrorist attacks in Sistan-Balouchestan are cross-border hit and run raids or ambushes on Iranian border patrol cars and border posts. This is the situation for which the Iran-Pakistan border security agreement of 2013 was signed for to help put an end to.

Iran wants to pursue attackers into Pakistani territory whenever Iranian forces come under attack on the border. Iran is not asking to establish a permanent military zone on Pakistani territory. I dont understand why some of you thick people dont understand this basic thing.

For years, Iranian forces have not pursued terrorists whenever they ambushed patrol cars or fired at border posts and then fled across the border back into Pakistan. But this is changing, hopefully permanently.

Why can't they take help of automated weapons? As in create a buffer zone up to maybe 100 metres into Iran's terrirotry along the border with just few entrances that should be guarded with soldiers. Place automated weapons and program them to shoot anything that it detects within the buffer zone. But the problem is the tunnels that they might make.
