Pakistan has been a hot bed of sectarian strife and jostling thanks to both Saudis and Iranians in the past.
While our security forces have largely penetrated and busted most of the sectarian operating groups in Pakistan, Iranian backed groups are much more organized and sophisticated in their outreach, organization, support systems and continued operations as non state actors. The recent years of activities that culminated in Pakistanis participating in Syrian civil war on behalf of Asad forces is what else but proof of it and there is much more to it simmering at the middle class mosque mullah level than meets the eyes.
There should be a complete and blanket ban on all such non state activities where foreign countries such as Iranians or Saudis are involved at whatever and or every level regardless of the sectarian divide.
