I have always said long live Iran India freindship.

Since money is going to be paid in any case but this kind of gesture Iran has shown will not be forgotten by Indians

India is a rich country. India is paying Arab countries for petro products without any problem. If it wasn't the US sanctions Iran & India would have no problem in comprehensive trading with each other.

Iran and India must become two buddies not only in ecconmic trading but in everything...

Lot of revenue is also generated from arab countries - we do more than 70 billion trade with them..mostly one sided favoring India..plus the money our expats send is close to 40 50 billion dollars a year.

I wish Iran gets into top speed mode and becomes a major economy very soon.

I am not sure why this question even raised by Indian firms...If Indian firms are due to pay something which was constrained by sanction then, after sanction is lifted, Iran should be paid...It is the courtesy of Iran that it is being polite with us is not asking to pay immediately..But it is not a good response from India to even think of to delay the payment to a friend who is supposed to be paid on time...

I really do not like this mindset of Indian business unit..

Indians are proud that our Friend Iran soon would be the economic Power House of Middle east ... Even tho been a Democracy they have shown middle finger to World Super Powers without having a single major ally or backers ...

We cant loose a Friend like Iran on minor few Billion Dollar Bill...

Resolve this issue ... We know Iran is in need of lot Dollars for upgrading its infrastructure and Industry after sanctions been removed

Simply put, there are red-lines in India-Iran 'friendship'. These include anything remotely concerned with defence. Its merely an economic relationship.
India buys 50% of Israeli military exports, in return, gets access to world's best technology.
India buys Iranian oil. Pays dollars. OVER.
