Iran rejects Turkey's establishing of military posts in Syria

Pal do you know that YPG/PKK now joined SAA? Don't expect from Turkey something if you are not able to expell YPG/PKK elements.
And there is also the refugee question, 4+ millions in Turkey alone and many more in Idlib, we can't feed them and we don't want them.
turkey has the right to defend it's citizens there is no question in that regard. i simply saying why Iran and Syria are not optimist about Turkey intentions.

Who will Pakistanis side with on this?

Iran or Turkey.

It would be interesting to see the comments.
Taking sides is not as important as learning lessons..
If we dont learn anything moving forward we will just invite more problems for our people.Wish we had the Afghanis settle inside a buffer zone the same way back in late 80s.

We have this silly Foreign policy NOT to take sides in disputes between two MUSLIM nations (regardless who is at right)
But then quickly we become umpires/referee..we love being umpire ki ungli even if the other parties have no intention of us to be there.
Pakistan was against FSA but now its supportive of Erdogans operations.

Russia, Iran, Syria vs Turkey

Turkey is alone. Russia will not abandon Assad. Russia is wary of turkey. They are part of NATO and turkey shot down Russia jet before. No where Russia will rely Turkey as reliable partners.

Well may be it's not as wide spread as much in Zardari era, but it certainly has not stopped.
There maybe some tiny incidents. It is next to impossible to stop smuggling across the western borders.

Hopefully the fencing will help a long way in that regards. The Government policy is to mainstream the trade but not easy to take on smugglers mafia
Foreign policy NOT to take sides in disputes between two MUSLIM nations (regardless who is at right)
it is a policy that has worked so far. the state of Pakistan will never take sides between Muslim groups outside her borders
