Russia has zero influence over Iran. None whatsoever. Therefore, stating Iran is Russia's lapdog is factually similar to the example I made earlier, i.e Turkey is the lapdog of Saudi Arabia.

Iran has been in Syria since the beginning and it's effort have not changed one bit. Russia has not and cannot influence Iran in the Syrian theatre. Furthermore, Iran and Russia have been on opposite side at certain times. A simple google search would have revealed that to you:

From my personal understanding, there would be no long lasting solution to the Syrian conflict until the Assad government isn't placed in some sort of check. Perhaps election, power sharing deal, regional autonomy or something. I think that the current situation only benefits the Assad government by ensuring a precarious balance of fuses off of very volatile TNT by which all powers are just trying to maintain the status quo. I'm not sure if Iran's political intervention would help though because they're not seen neutral by all sides. Just by thoughts.

Iranian terrorists are responsible for the attacks on Turkish soldiers so I don't think mediation is gonna work. We supported Iran against American sanctions but they don't seem to learn. The helicopter pilot that was downed yesterday in Idlib had pictures with Solemani for example. We should cooperate with Israel to end Iranian hostility.

we are party with conflict on other places , here in Idlib we never were .
we even didn't present when the ceasefire achieved.

from my understanding all these conflict in idlib stem from HTS being present in idlib . change that and the problem will solve itself . it is what was promised to Syrian side of the conflict in ceasefire deal and its what no one cared about to implement after ceasefire .
