Why not, Iran has the right to do it, overall they will be staying in international waters.

Sure. See the Chinese and Russians. To which there is no alarmed US responses. So why expect one for Iranians? Meanwhile the Iranian navy has managed to enter the South Atlantic, to the east of South Africa that is. That's as close to US coast as managed to date, I believe.

I got no problem with it, they should bring their whole Navy here...it will keep them out of trouble.

And event of war US will not have to mount operations in Persian Gulf when chickens have already come home to roost!

Why? What's the point? To give a sense of embargoing the worlds most powerful naval power off its own home coast? That would potentially be the shortest lived naval confrontation in history.

even if its not a "super power" it will still be a big power for the foreseeable future. How long do you think it will take Iran to reach to a position to challenge US in its own turf?
