Iran Navy rescues Chinese container ship from pirates

Huh? A powerful Iran would bring stability to the middle east. Relatively speaking. And Iran and China don't share any borders nor do they share any traumatic history that would fuel present day grievances. Iran and China would be natural partners. So I don't know why you think that China doesn't want a powerful Iran? China's rise is completely different from US hegemony. China has often and loudly called for a multi-polar world where there are several nodes of power as opposed to the US strategy of brooking no peer competitor. Even if China were to become the most powerful country in the world, as millennia of history has shown, China has no desire to dominate and control other countries the way the US is doing even today. Don't be so pessimistic my man.

That is pretty naive thinking especially with China already dealing with its Asian neighbors that hates it already. And you can explain it for us all.

Re-read my post. Carefully this time.

So wait for friendly moves from your old friend!

A matter of time!

Well, if KSA betrays us, then we don't have to take them as the friend anymore.

But we are good heart people, we rather let people to betray us first than vice versa.

I already read it and comprehend it. Perhaps you should follow your own advice.

Since many Asian nations are siding with U.S., the nations that are Asian and should be a brethren of China, that is pretty much a contradiction.

Just because they're Asian, they should automatically be brethren? Because European brotherhood is such a recent thing? And because Asians have never fought one another before the founding of the PRC? Who's being naive again?

Here's a tip - when you try to apply fairytale morality to international relations and geopolitics, you're going to have a bad time.

Who's naive. We got posters accusing and spouting about Japan and South Korea as puppets and working against their own Asian brothers specially against China all the time.

Here is a tip, when you talk or spout about China not being aggressive or dominant against other countries, you need to look at yourself. Actions speaks louder than words.

When you talk or spout about China being aggressive, coming from an "American", you're the last person who can say anything on the matter without looking like a complete hypocrite. Here's a tip, take your own advice.
