Any particular reason for Iran's focus on improving strategic ties with India?

It's none of our business of course, just asking out of curiosity.

They want influence in central Asia and thats not against our national interests,also they are ready to invest a lot in Sistan Baluchestan province,the most undeveloped part of Iran.China also plays a significant role in Chabahar port development by making nuclear plants, there.

I dont recall a time when Iran was not eager in establishing close bonds and upgrading relations with a country .

some people ask why Iran is eager to expand ties with India and not pakistan .

they are asking the wrong question :

Why is India eager to promote ties with Iran and Pakistan is NOT ?

thats the right question . cause i know for sure that Iran will NOT miss any opportunity to expand ties with Pakistan and India
