When you force men to only interact with other men, male behaviors and norms will be the only thing they know. Same in Iranian primary and secondary schools. They're practically zoos!! I went from the Iranian education system and was thrown right in the middle of a Canadian school when I was 11 years old. It took me a solid year to become a normal kid.

I'm not defending the ban, of course they should be able to decide for themselves. I'm just saying they aren't missing much. Whether we like it or not most of those going to stadiums are thugs. Maybe this problem itself has happened for sole reason that women were not allowed for years.

Sad how the country who claims to have superior moral principles and who's members on PDf claim the moral high ground in every chance they get can't have women attending soccer matches for the fear of harassment and rape during the game. Just imagine watching a game and people getting raped in the background. This country still lives in the 18th century. Unless the leadership doesn't change in Iran I don't think these small surgical changes will help anything. It is like trying clean the floor of the toilet that hasn't been working for 30 years. You have to fix the toilet before you start cleaning the floor.
