Russia upgraded it's Searchers and added satellite guided munitions which got your panties in a bunch. The Forpost-M is far more capable then the Searcher and the Orion is in another league. As for ISIS. Most of the munitions they dropped missed, they only posted whatever rare hits they achieved for propaganda. I don't ever recall ISIS making satellite guided munitions and data links. Israel was fighting in clear weather conditions in the summer, in open terrain. Russia was fighting in the winter, during snow storms, fog, in high mountainous areas, cities and villages, where aviation and heavy armor can not operate.
When Israelis went into tiny village with armored brigades, and thousands of soldiers they were slaughtered then retreated against a couple dozen Heballah fighters. Now try fighting in Grozny or the Caucasus mountains. Israel never defeated Hezbollah, but instead retreated where as Russia finished the job. If Israel was to finish off Hezbollah it would take years and thousands of lives.
Virtually all the fighting was in Chechnya. In Dagestan there were only 4 tiny villages which Russia wiped from the air.

Killing and wounding 17,000 protesters including journalists, people in wheelchairs and kids is so compassionate. Even more compassionate is shooting at people's limbs and laughing on camera even though they will be amputated. Compassion is bulldozing neighborhoods, and blockading neighborhoods and aid.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Most fighting was in mountainous areas. Its easy to cross check what I have said. Check the battle for Hill 776, it was a massive battle in the moutains, like dozens of other battles.
Terrorists sized a string of villages in Chechnya and Degestan but fled into the mountains. They would come from Georgia, Ingushetia, Degestan and Chechnya, many were Arabs or other foreigners.
