Yes I mean in number of causalities, he kills and rapes more so he's the bigger evil. Well if the SAA collapses, then the strongest rebel group eventually tends to take over.

Strongest rebel group in Syria currently is HTS or a Turkish backed force, if it's the latter Syria becomes a Turkish proxy and Erdogan will continue his campaign in other neighboring countries. Unlikely anyway the SAA is going to win
