We all know about the much touted Iran/India alliance and the super dooper Chah Bahar project that will even provide US Navy a place to refuel when bombing Iran or supplying Russia or Afghanistan through Iran. But beyond that Iranian map makers failed big time. Modi is going to have to phone up the mullahs in Tehran and teach them geography and map making skills.

Is that Indian occupied Kashmir shown as part of Pakistan in Tehran billboard? Mmmmmmmm???

Billboards celebrating Pakistan's independence day put up in Iran capital

Billboards and banners felicitating Pakistan on its 72nd independence day have been put up across Tehran, the capital of Iran, Radio Pakistan reported on Tuesday.

The text in Persian on the billboards, photos of which are available with Dawn.com, congratulates Pakistan on its independence anniversary and depict historical landmarks from the four provinces. The hoardings have been put on highways and bridges across the Iranian city.

According to Radio Pakistan, Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also felicitated the Pakistani nation on the occasion.

Pakistan's relations with Iran appear to be on an upward trajectory. In a call to prime minister-in-waiting Imran Khan, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani had said that his country's relations with Pakistan are not only that of a neighbour but go deeper as the two countries share the same religious and cultural values.

"We want to develop special trade relations with Iran," Khan had told Rouhani in response, adding that Pakistan wishes to see further improvement in relations on the diplomatic level.

The Iranian president had also extended an invitation to Khan to visit Iran after taking the oath, which was accepted by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief.

Last month, the two countries pledged to further deepen their military cooperation.

Doesn't Iran officially supports Pakistani stand on Kashmir? Whats the big deal, its a Islamic thing rather than a support for Pakistan. India is not going to raise a storm in a teacup for some roadside poster on an obscure road in Tehran. And yet Indo-Persian trade and cultural ties are far more expansive than with Pakistan. Your frustration is writ large in this post, where a non-Muslim nation is preferred over a Muslim nation when it comes to trade and cultural ties.

Lol.
In 2018-19 India is going to import at least $5.5 billion worth of oil from Iran despite US sanctions while this may be less than $10 billion of previous year it is still a lot whereas Pakistan does not have the courage to import a single barrel even before sanctions.

BTW all references to Kashmir were made by Khomeini and not a single time did Iranian president or foreign ministry ever refer to Kashmir.

Iran humiliated Pakistan by refusing to joun OIC contact group on Kashmir.
The group has mere 5 members, Pak, KSA, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Niger.
Look at the map again and see where is Kashmir shown.
Buying oil from Iran is good business from them which most probably will end in November as already Indian companies have reduced their import of Iranian oil and this is the reaction for that. Indians will only get Uncle Sam's approved oil from now on. Trump ain't no Obama you won't be getting any waivers this time.

Lol.
Same map shows Chinese Aksai Chin as part of Pakistan:lol:
Just now bloomberg reported US has agreed to give India, iran oil waiver for only 40-50% reduction in pil imports which means India will still be importing a whopping $5-6 billion Iranian oil.
Gangadeshi hold your horses and share the source of your claim.

Well we're natural allies against our primary threat, the sunni expansionist arab doctrine.

Diplomacy in this messy world is also a tricky thing, everyone's trying to play and leverage everyone else, friends and allies alike.

The Pak military are still inextricably linked with the US, and will be so for decades to come unless something really drastic happens.

The Al Sauds have bowed to Trump and the Zionists and are actually working on removing salafist culture and are working with Israel, as are many other Arab nations.

Random billboard means nothing.

We will exploit the Shia Sunni divide to the max, 10000%

and exarcerbate it

We kafirs are unstoppable at this stage.

Yeah I know. But they have never did this type of thing before this will surely infuriate Indians. The showed Kashmir as part of Pakistan, not disputed.
Why should it infuriate indians ? A muslim country is supporting another muslim country. We have diplomatic relations world over .

Lol.
Did you even read it:

You said US agreed to give waiver, the article says US considering and the news comes from sources which means it's just some Indians wet dreams being translated into this article. So come at me next when the Orange man tweets the news of giving a waiver, until that time India has no waiver and in 3 months time sanctions will be back in full force, which means oil shipments suspended.

We'll just do some vedic magic and make another bank to get around the sanctions again.

Really. If you saw a Indian sponsored "Free Balochistan" poster on side of a London taxi you would have enough gas coming out of your posterior to "Make India Mars" project.

Well thanks for acknowledging you possess vedic technology and the Twitter President won't let you play games like Obama did.
