Iran has arrested CIA spies and published some of there identity

Spies know the risks when their identity is revealed, torture and death.

Not in Turkey who at the moment , no longer have this barbaric practice of the death penalty.

are millions of ppl that do to court and get a sentence every day in US and Iran and Israel it self ans world but there court will never be public that's how much naive some one an get.

I think you are not familiar with the way legal systems work in a democracy. Otherwise you would not write such things . It does not seem that you are familiar with the legal system in your own country. Which is sad. Cause like that things would never improve there.

First principle is that proceedings ought to be open to the public, including the contents of court files and public viewing of trials.

That ensures that the authorities do not try to temper with justice in some dark remote room where no one can see what they are doing.

The second principle is that you allow a person to have legal representation of a lawyer of his own choosing.

I stress that because some countries , like Iran make a mockery of this rule.

In Iran for example , there is also a law that defendants must be allowed a lawyer to represent their defense. But in practice sometime this rules is Ignored and sometimes the mullah dictators try to trick the public by saying they would allow a lawyer , but actually the defendant can only choose a lawyer from a list of lawyers that the mullah dictators approved. So the lawyer does not represent to defendant but the dictators.

This is exactly what happened in the case of Nasrin Sotoudeh , the human right laywer that defendant woman who removed the hijab , and for her bravery was sentenced to 38 years in prison and 148 lashes.

Nasrin Sotoudeh refused to defend herself in courts for two reasons :

First- because of the Note to Article 48 [of the Criminal Procedures Regulations] which says prisoners accused of [national] security crimes can only choose lawyers approved by the judiciary chief. ( or in other words the lawyer represents the state interests and not that of the defendant,.

Second - because in 2010, four of the six lawyers who had represented her were prosecuted and she does not want to cause any problems for her colleagues again.

i think you to can agree that under such conditions there is NO way people can get a fair trial in Iran.

And when you hear that 17 people where arrested in Iran and some got the death sentence , what should worry you that it is almost certain non of them got a fair trial and more probably - the mullah dictators simply made excuses to get rid of people they don't like.

Thais BTW is Nasrin Sotoudeh the day she got out of prison the first time.

She chose to wear a hijab on which where to words of Iranian poet Forough Farrokhzad: stating “I will greet the sun again. " ! ! !

Brave woman.
