Iran would never attack the country Pakistan. It's a neighbour, it has 200 million people, a very strong army and nukes. No, Iran is just 'chasing' these terrorists. Those scumbags smuggle and kill Iranian border guards every now and then, and then flee back into Pakistan. So that's all this is. Even though it looks bad, it's not.

In these areas there are only a few thoroughfares and very few town, controlling these few paths and posts in a sea of inhabitable desert brings the whole area under control.
