Well dear that was not a nonsense response. Munhsi is right when he says for how long India will supress Sri Lanka, keeping in view the behavior of India regrading arms purchase by SL from others.

If India does not sell arms to them its one thing thats your right but when India bully Sri Lanka and threaten her not to buy weapons for her stability and fighting the terrorism then its indeed equalent to supress Sri Lanka.

Indian radar operators wounded in attack

Two Indian radar operators working for the Sri Lanka Air Force sustained injuries in the attack carried out by the LTTE on the Wanni security forces headquarters in Vavuniya, 'Tamilnet' reported.

Quoting army sources in Vavuniya, the website said the wounded Indian radar operators were airlifted to Colombo for further treatment.

very clever of you to post just half part of a news but then well anyway nice way to present half-baked false claims of India that India is helping Sri Lanka by leting Indians to work as radar operators .

BTW i had read that news way back and also the claims of Indian media boasting about Indian help

You are avoding the basic point. i am asking you again tell me by allowing few radar operators do you think India is truely helping Sri Lanka while at the same time India is refusing sale of weapons to Sri Lanka why????

India always classified defense sales to Sri Lanka into two parts - Offensive and Defensive. India has refused to sell offensive type weapons to Sri Lanka and there has been complaints about the quality of the defensive type of arms provided including the above mentioned radars.

This quote should clarify matters -

It is very clear. Whatever their requirements, they (Sri Lanka) should come to us. We will give what is necessary,” - but oddly this military assistance would not include ‘offensive’ weaponry." Why does Bangladesh not sell Radars to Sri Lanka ? I think we can add MI6 & CIA here if not RAW or MOSSAD its all conspiracy you know.

But if India does not sell Sri Lanka can always approach others I believe Pakistan is already supplying.

The quotation I referred to completely contradicts your statement. India is asserting that Sri Lanka is not free to decide whom to buy arms from.

What ? Sri Lanka is a free country India cannot dictate terms to it. However
India would prefer Sri Lanka keep Indian sensitives in mind.
