Maybe Ms. Sotoudeh is not aware of who these terrorists actually are.
Its funny but I didnt notice a palestine in their little list......I wonder why that is?.Israel may be "free"[what ever that actually means]but the palestinians certainly arent. So you dint actually have something to say about people being executed without proper legal proceedings , you can only make a stupid remark.
Here is an idea. Why dont you name us one country in the middle east that has better freedom and human right record than Israel.

I am not trying to persuade you to suddenly change your opinion and be against capital punishment and support its abolishment , which is what I think is best .
I do however expect you to be alert when there are so many reports of people being executed without proper legal proceedings - and there are many reports on those not just talking about this case.
Only about two years ago a judge in Iran said to a condemned man :
“ If you’re innocent you’ll go to heaven after you’re hanged "
Now i would rather have this small matter of guilt to be resolved before the execution , not after if you know what I mean ...
I also think that you should be alarmed by the sheer numbers of people executed. Iran in the past years have executed more than 500 a year. Compare that to your neighbor Pakistan who has 2.5 as much people and face the same problems - their execution numbers in recent times are about 50 a years. 10 times less than Iran.
I don't thing that with such numbers you can say that all is well in this area

Heres another thing you might not know, the writer Sarah Sunn Bush found that a study of freedom house's archive showed that they never debated marking Israel as anything less than "free" despite calls from many sources in the region to do so[bias very much?]
Oh,you might not know this either but "freedom"house gets 86% of its funding from THE US GOVERNMENT[I think that says it all, dont you?]

Most of the executions are for drug offences afaik. Iran is bordered by Afghanistan one of the largest exporters of heroin in the world. Drug addiction is a big problem in Iran so there are harsh penalties put on drug traffickers, including execution in severe cases (there are a lot of severe cases). I had heard a few months ago that execution was to be removed as a punishment for drug smuggling but I don't know if it got anywhere.
That is why i gave the example of Pakistan that has the same drug and security issues because of bordering Afghanistan but still does not reach such numbers of executions.
