today was a very sad day for me , you know why ? i lost a patient . 52 year old female died of endocarditis and she really suffered a lot . if she just could make it through the day she was going to have a surgery and get her heart fixed .

she could literally have lived for another 2 decades .

yet when i saw this news i was really more than happy . you know why ? cause IRI security officials whom i trust more than my eyes have made this country one of the most secure and safe countries in the world .

i hold pride in them and i love them more than myself . they are the reason why Iran is not pakistan , afghanistan , Iraq , Syria , Lebanon , KSA and literally all other ME nation .

they are the reason why our women can come out and have a blast of a night in 03:00 AM in the middle of the night and come back to their families being more than safe and healthy , while women in US might not have some of these privileges in some areas .

Don't use the I'm-an-old-man-card. You are still a student. Turkish members critize AKP gov all the time. I still have to come across an Iranian who is critical of the Mullah. You were one of the few who were critical in the Iranian community before making your metamorphosis.

Which part is ironical? They are living under screwed up conditions when central governments don't give a damn about them and there is no job for them. So, they need to smuggle gas, alcohol, ... in mountains to make a living for their poor families. What do you expect them? starve their family?

I can see why they smuggle in general which is fine with me but what makes me mad is that their media outlets are putting all of the blame on the government and they turn a blind eye to their "own people". The central government cares but what can you do if PKK destroys all of the construction vehicles, attack dams, blows up bridges, and attacks construction sites? Nothing. They scare away all investors.

I understand your point. but, what central government did when PKK was not attacking, and there was peace in Kurdish areas? I am not saying that they did nothing for them, but what was done has been far from what they needed. BTW, it's also governments duty to "take care" of PKK. Give kurds jobs with fair salaries, and recognize their rights, then PKK would not be able to find even 1000 members and they will be automatically abolished. On the other hand, increase pressure on Kurds, and you will see a jump in support for PKK. I am sure you have seen recent polls that show HDP popularity is increased by 2-3% since the previous election.

Ask any Iranian or Turkish member and he can confirm you were anti-Iran because of all the nasty stuff they did to Azeri intellectuals and other minorities.
