So a Kurd can not talk two different languages? Most European states have more than one language operating in the official institutions. Minority groups can have mother tongue education for free even though they make up only 0.5% of the total population. Leaflets, books, instructions in official buildings are all multilingual.

An Islamic state can never be a nation state. Either you are a nation state or an Islamic state. The Islamic state of Persia is a big contradiction in itself.

And yes, you are falling on your kness if you are not ready to fight for your cultural and lingual rights. Again, that is your decission. Since you dont speak Kurdish, you can not really speak for the Kurds.

I am not here to change the official language. It can remain Persian. But all minority groups should have the right to be taught in their mother language without any restrictions. The reason you do not speak Kurdish is exactly due to oppression of Kurdish. There is a direct causality between people not speaking their mother tongue and the oppression of that mother tongue by the Persian state.

There are more arabs in the United States than there are in Iran. Should arabs go to publicly funded schools and demand to be thought in Arabic? What about the other 100+ minorities that make up the United States?

My little brother grew up in Canada. He can speak English and Persian. He can read and write both English and Persian (although his Persian writing skills are extremely limited, but he can still read and speak). That's because we sent him to an Iranian school after his regular school hours. Japanese, Koreans and all other minorities in Canada can and do the same thing. Alternatively, they may choose not to do so and have their kids grow up with one primary language and one secondary language where he/she can speak it, but not be able to write and read that particular language.

In any case, Iran is no different than hundreds of other countries in the world.
