Millions of Arabs visit Iran, for pilgrims every year. Maybe Not Tehran but they usually visit Qom and Mashhad.

Not to mention about a 200,000 Iraqi refugees that live in Iran.

Al-hasani is an ignorant Wahhabi...

. . .
New leadership? Did Khameinei had a stroke last night?

Any change is evolution while true that the Supreme leader remains Khameinei we should appreciate what change is gained and in the end if it works good for the country (Iran) well and good.

there are direct flights to mashhad itself.so as i asked they mostly will visit north.you know they want to experience some different to that depressing desert.

believe me,this zealote idiot is supposed to be among their most open minded guys.

Mashhad was founded by Arabs. Likewise Qom.:cheesy: Don't plan to visit Iran. Don't think they like Arabs and not sure they would allow a Saudi citizen to visit them. I would probably be spied on and accused of being an "Wahhabi" (invented word for the Hanbali fiqh)! Maybe I could use the fact that I am a Hashemite. That might help a little, LOL. But only among the clerics and conservative ones. Doubt that others would care!

Maybe only the Arab areas of Iran if I had to go judging from the actions of the Iranian members here.;)

No, I guess that the normal/ordinary Iranian lot are quite friendly. Maybe even towards Arabs too. Would have to discover it myself though. Just like our normal lot is friendly to must if not all from the beginning.

Nah, you should visit Iran. We dont have problems with Arabs. But I suggest that you visit places like Mashad, Shiraz and Esfahan. They are quiet and maybe a little more tourist friendly. Isfahan is amazing. Tehran traffic and pollution is simply off the chartz (although Ive heard its gotten better in recent years, as they are improving and building infrastructure).

Off course if you have the Wahhabi trademark beard, then expect to be closely watched by government agents. LOL jk :omghaha:

Anyway you are welcome to Iran. :)

Yes, you are a lunatic Kollang. That is right. The Arab world is one of the most diverse places on earth. Even KSA and Yemen are extremely diverse. Most of the deserts are found in North Africa and especially Libya, Algeria and Egypt. Our deserts are not flat deserts but mountainous deserts with a long past of volcanic activity. I don't expect a ignorant to know all this. We have the most oasis in the world too and many fertile wadis even in the desert. We even have the biggest oasis in the world and palm grove found in Al-Ahsa. Lastly Iran has enormous deserts themselves and Mashhad nor Qom is hardly any fertile land. Also Mashhad and Qom was founded by Arabs.

The Arab pilgrims who go to Iran are mostly Shia Arabs from Iraq or Bahrain. Hardly normal Arab tourists. Like millions of us go to Malaysia, Indonesia, Europe, USA or etc. Know what I mean?

I am a Meccan Hashemite and a Sunni of the Shafi'i fiqh. Nice try. I could call say that a Rafida and fire worshipper is not welcome in the Arab world but what is the point of that? Other than looking very stupid?

Hussein:

We have thousands of souqs ourselves. Trade is a fundamental part of the Semitic past. I am sure that you have read the Noble Qur'an or even early Islamic history. You have not visited any Arab country if you have not been to a souq.

How do you know that they were not other Arabs? Often it is really hard to pick apart. We come in many shapes and forms just like every Middle Eastern. It's not like you can pinpoint where they are from unless you know which Arabic dialect they speak or ask them. Also Saudi tourists to Iran are almost non-existant. There have been issued like 25.000 visas in the last 30 years or so. Most for religious Shia tripes to Qom or Mashhad. Hardly any normal tourists.

I am not a fantast or what you call it. The vast majority of the Iranian members here do not like Arabs. I have 23 Arab countries to travel to - many I am yet to visit or the remaining world. Sure, there are many friendly and good Iranians but not many on this forum at least. If everything was rosy we would not have this discussion even.

LOL, just like most Arabs don't really have any problems with ordinary Iranians. After all we have quite a lot of Iranians in Arab countries especially just across the Gulf in UAE, Kuwait and elsewhere. Although that is like visiting a tiny part of Iran and saying that "now" I know the Arab world.

Mashhad and Qom would be interesting because they were founded by Arabs. Shiraz and Esfahan seems really nice too. Then there is the Caspian Sea area. Khuzestan obviously and the Southern coastal regions where some Arabs still live apparently. Would be interesting to see how different the coast is there although I suspect it is similar. Maybe some of the many deserts of Iran which seems fascinating and mountains around Tehran. There is a lot to see just like in the Arab world and the Arabian Peninsula.

LOL. I wear normal western clothes, hardly have a beard and I am a chemical engineering student. I know my share of Iranians. I live in Denmark right now btw for studies. Will stay for 2 years unless I move to USA for the 2 year. Will wait and see.

I speak a little Danish and write a little. You can test me here, LOL.

Thanks. You are also welcome to visit any Arab land, I am sure since you are a good Iranian.

. . .
LOL. Baklawa. But I like Danish pastry in general!

Bor du i hovedstaden eller Aarhus?:cheesy:

Hehe I live in Århus :)
I also like Danish pastry but to be honest, in general, I think its a little overrated. Danish pastry is like known in the world or something, for reasons I cant quite understand. They just go wild with marzipan on everything. haha
Middle Eastern pastry is more flavourful. Nothing beats baklava with tea! :D

Oh, cool. I have only been to Jutland once. I visited Legoland and some areas near it I can't remember the name of. It was a tour arranged by the University to show parts of Denmark to us.

Yes, maybe but some of it I like. Have not tried too much though. I do not like marzipan myself!:cheesy:

Yes, it is great indeed. Or strong black Arabic or Turkish coffee to accompany it.

Dansk mad er generelt ikke godt!:omghaha:

hahaha jeg er fuldstændig enig! :)

In general I dont think Scandinavia have that good food culture. Its so dull and boring. Even the danes and Swedes dont like it that much. loool
In Sweden I know that falafel and kebab in pita are wildly popular. In Denmark too. Although that is like fast food.
But even main foods from Middle East are classes above North European/Scandinavian food. :D
