Well, the defence minister should be a lot more careful since he has access to a lot more resources like foreign office, intel agencies and news channels so he should have called intel chief to confirm it before issuing the statement and that too could have been conveyed through diplomatic channels. It won't be the first time, in the past Pakistan conveyed much more serious threats through proper channels after the credible info was received and verified...at least twice...once in 1986 and again 1998 and both times those were effective and achieved the desired results.This case also highlight the perils of disinformation campaign - very dangerous.
People should strive for truthfulness in all matters, and lying should be discouraged at all levels. Propaganda is the art of KUFFAR.
Iranian sectarian designs, and narrative-building, are additional layers of threat.
