Leaders and senior politicians from around the world are arriving in the Iranian capital, Tehran, to attend the upcoming inauguration ceremony of President-elect Hassan Rouhani.

Since Thursday, aircraft carrying delegations have been touching down in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad International Airports.

In May, Rouhani won re-election in a landslide victory after securing 57 percent of the votes and defeating his main contender Ebrahim Raeisi, the current custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH).

The swearing-in ceremony is slated to be held (at Majlis Parliament) on Saturday.

On Thursday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei formally endorsed Rouhani as president.

Representatives from at least 100 countries are slated to partake in the ceremony.

IRNA reported that Mogherini had held separate meetings with President Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday.

He will be in Iran for 10 day's they said and he is accompanied with some military officials as well!!!

Iran should offer N. Korea to start:
1.A joint Titanium production facilities in mining & joint R&D projects in the field of metallurgy.
2.Joint stealth UAV, UCAV & Fighter Projects & Joint Jet Engine projects from Scramjet engines to Turbofan engines of all sizes.
3.Joint Space Programs we can potentially contract them to send Sat's into space for us at a much faster pace at a much lower cost maybe one 600lb -1000lb sat a month into LEO (500km-1000km) starting next year using their new Rocket.
4.North Korea has also built a 200ft long Sinpo-Class sub so a joint Sub project could potentially increase the size of Iran's Blue Water Sub Fleet

Now that North Korea has reached ICBM capability I wonder if they'll continue mass R&D investment in Missile Tech or will they divert their focus to something else like stealth Aircraft & Jet Engines

Thanks God,
our leaders should learn many things from him

beautiful beast,
we must to follow their path to Miniaturize cost and time.
for sure they are completely ahead of us under water
Now that North Korea has reached ICBM capability I wonder if they'll continue mass R&D investment in Missile Tech or will they divert their focus to something else like stealth Aircraft & Jet Engines

I think they would spend time and money for their SubWater Fleet (SSBN)
Big guaranty to respond
we should join them or offer them small nuclear submarine (around 6000-7000 t) displacement which can carry at least 4 missiles
history prove that they will achieve what they want.
they are smart and hardworking people.

we are wrong with investing on Conventional Naval fleet like khalije Fars, shiraz and other big ships.
we should continue our irregular doctrine in sea as well, so small and fast submarines are best things for us.
this submarines can drop mines where the small boats can not go and do many other things.

As for not building large ships I believe that would be a BIG mistake because a lot of the guys that work on these ships later end up working for & help grow Iran's Civilian Ship industry & to further advance that industry in the country you need government funded naval R&D in propulsion, design, etc and it works the other way around as well if a ship yard is short on orders instead of handing out government subsidies place an order so that professional workforce doesn't go and seek employment in another country there is a reason why the top ten most advanced countries in the world that are the top 10 producers of the world also have one of the top ten largest military budgets (Except for Saudi Arabia that is)

I believe Iran's military budget is too low and it should not be under $40Billion & weapons procurement should strictly be Domestically produced! Although I agree large ships are only good if they are at sea and on the move not parked at a single base! Right now a single raid at Bandar Abbas can take out 80% of Iran's Blue water Navy but that's a command, management & funding problem!

Iran is sitting on one of the largest stockpiles of Natural Gas in the world! If it was me I would start building large vessels powered by LNG & reinforce their fuel tanks with layers of Kevlar & high grade fiberglass type composites

Iran's irregular doctrine should be the minimum deterrent power not it's maximum capability & investment in military R&D and always attempting to build the most advance equipment for your military has a direct impact on your civilian sector, job growth & technology growth in the entire country because it gives them access to technology that allows Iranian products to compete globally!

This is the result of Rouhani's diplomacy:

this is what Ahmadinejad did:

I won't participate in these useless elections anymore ... nothing is going change and both party are like each others ...

You have an incorrect view! Showing up to votes is not just about the candidate it also shows the confidence of the people in the process!
The idea that they are all the same is far from reality! We could have ended up with someone that wanted to increase Yaraneh (Handouts)! We could have ended up with someone who was far more radical socially!....

I'm sorry brother but you must be living in La La Land! It seems you forgot that even China & Russia were sanctioning Iran during that fool Ahmma need a JOB!

You seem to have forgotten the Yaraneh program that he implemented is continuing to damage Iran's Economy to this day!

Diplomatically Iran is far better off today & you don't have to be a Rocket Scientist to see that!

Why don't you get it! Even Iran's Supreme Leader who is an ultra conservative directly banned him! Ahmadi's behavior forced him to do so both publicly and privately and he did so because he knew that guy just did not know how to run a country!

The fact that he is walking around freely is only because Iran doesn't want to embarrass it's self by arresting a former president!

China and Russia sanctioned us cause they prefer a backwarded and dependent Iran who keeps buying from them.
their position hasn't changed, China still hasn't payed it's debt, this week they blocked more of our money, while in recent months they even have refused to pay for our petrochemical exports.

This is the crazy rate of imports which is hurting us, not a little money which is given to poor people, this money is nothing in the scale of our economy.
but you may have forgotten that Rouhani had four years to exclude the rich families but he didn't.

leader didn't ban him, advised him to not participate, the reason was because Ahmadinejad couldn't unite the conservatives, I was against his participate either. Ahmadinejad had many mistakes but first of all, foreign diplomacy was the least one and secondly comparing to him, Rouhani is a disaster.
