Now Pakistani students would not be allowed to study engineering as well.

It was stupid idea to invite Iran on the occasion of IDEAS. Iran is not even respected in India as much that they got invited to inspect their front line SU30MKI or Mirage 2000. Pakistan again and proved that it's a banana republic.

Now on subject matter, it's not authentic news only defence.pk and its subsidiaries is propagating this rumor.
Without doubt defence.pk is has become largest rumor mill on Pakistani affairs.

If we are able enough to negotiate sanction exceptions from US, than we can also win exception on cash payments from Iran, thanks to Barack Hussein Obama, Iran got loads of it!

Given the fact that they are bound by a common and committed defence treaty including protection of the holiest shrines and the royal family, arming Iran will be extremely counterproductive and will incur KSA's wrath.

But given that IK government is more independent in its foreign policy approach, they could always counter Saudi by saying that Riyadh cooperates so much with India so why can't Pakistanis cooperate with Iran.

We don't 'disrespect' Iran. We keep our ties to them limited to bilateral limit without a third country dictating terms to us. Usually everything is tried to resolve in a political and diplomatic manner. When it comes to defence, Iranians prefer to keep to themselves and prefer a more under-the-radar approach.
