What's new

Iran brings 'Mersad' missile on stream

if you believe is sanction there you must stop everything what we did not. and should not

We are sanctioned and so people cannot buy from us because of the political backlash, the things we build can be sourced from elsewhere also and therefore we don't export our produced weapons.

yes we do export and must do as much as we can

Good to Start with , Congratulations -- Long way to go !

Sssshhhhhh! That was topsecret, didnt you know that? That is the Agni-XXX (with emphasis on the 3 X's), ultraportable, extremely maneuverable and deadly dangerous!! The tech is so advanced, all you need is to whisper into the cone your target and light a matchstick under it to blow your enemies to smithereens come!

Lol @ imbeciles!

btw, that is a part of the first sounding rocket ever launched by India back in the 50's, one of the foundation stones for ISRO.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
i like that man

Well I read that Iran has 150 of the launchers in its possesion

That is 150 x 4 missiles = 600 missiles !!!

The US ones, I wonder how many locally iran has produced

These missiles could make the local cities extremely very guarded

The Mersad/Hawk combination could spell death for

a) F15
b) F16
c) Apache
d) Chinook
e) Hornets
f) C130
g) Globe master
h) UAV

Flying low on city parameters

And if you consider the fact that they are also getting S300 systems
That would make the city defences extremely solid

It is funny to see how Iran's achievements make fellow Muslims burn. Jealousy is a sin brothers.

Some Pakistanis love Iran but not all.

Pakistanis dont consider Iran as an enemy country like india, but at the same time Iran is not like China and Turkey is where all Pakistanis love China and Turkey.

Some Pakistanis have a favorable view of Iran some dont. I believe this current government of Pakistan is very Pro-Iran compared to the last one.

I think it is mostly to do with Muslim sects. Wahhabis in particular, like Imran Khan over here are pretty hostile, while they worship KSA. Shias on the other hand generally tend to be Pro Iran.

My view point is sect is a disagreement between brothers and nothing more the main focus should be living ine peace and harmony

And minor technical difficulties in interpetation of laws and rules should not come in between the main goals which is prosperity and economic growth in general to whole region

KSA is k , I think there is ample room for cooperation between Arab states and Iran and other nations in region just need a open mind

At one time before the revolution in Iran, all Pakistanis loved Iran like how Pakistanis see China and Turkey today.

We have very mixed opinions when it comes to Iran, but no Pakistani sees Iran as an enemy country like India.

I think one of the main problems has been , Iran's reluctant to join Pakistan/China alliance on grand scale -

Iran is always 40-40% and 20% has no clue what they want in life...

The commitment is never there most ppl in Pakistan are quite found of iran but the truth is confusion has existed due to indian interferane

I mean even the gas pipeline with iran , indians delayed the deal for 10years and in end they walked away , if Iran was dealing with us 100%we would be already done with project.

Personally I find Iran to be quite a 'developed nation' , clean , architecturally advance cities and most phd R&D in world ...

Ideally it would be great if we can have a solid partnership
in region

Iran knows very well what it wants to do and has planned so far ahead it is astonishing. Trade between Iran and China was $35

Iran and China have good relations and cooperation on most fields and trade between the two countries reached $30 billion in 2008 and China has investments in Iran over $100 billion.

On the IPI issue, it is not feasible to build this pipeline if you only have one costumer that is why we need India involved as well.

can any one share what is the hit to kill ratio for this system. by the why congrats to iranian brothers.:yahoo:

Guys, what is wrong with you? This was a thread about SAMs. Someone started off condemning the article in unacceptable religous terms and ruined the thread. If you have an issue with the article please respond with a sensible argument that has some merit. Missiles are not hindu, christian, shia, sunni or wahabi. These ridiculous sectarian discussions have no place in a thread concerning SAMs.

I was especially disappointed to see that senior members played a big part in destroying this thread by engaging in completely nonsensical sectarian rhetoric.

If you can continue a reasonable discussion, let's do so, otherwise I will close the thread.
