TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran's Attorney General Ebrahim Rae'esi on Saturday condemned a recent terrorist attack that took lives of four police officers in the country’s southeast, and criticized neighboring Pakistan for becoming a “safe haven” for the terrorists.

Speaking to reporters in Tehran, the Iranian official called on the country’s Foreign Ministry and diplomatic channels to follow up on the case in a bid to prevent terrorist attacks on the law enforcement forces.
His comments came after the death of four Iranian police officers in attacks by terrorist groups in the southeastern town of Saravan, near the border with Pakistan.

A car bomb attack on a police station in the border city left one police officer dead and three others injured on Thursday morning. The attack came a day after three other police forces were killed in a separate terrorist attack in the city.
In February 2013, Iran and Pakistan signed a security agreement which requires both sides to take strict measures to combat terrorism as well as human and drug trafficking.

But the Pakistani side has frequently failed to fulfil its obligations under the agreement.
In February this year, five Iranian border guards were kidnapped by a terrorist group in Jakigour region in Iran’s Sistan and Balouchestan province and were taken to Pakistan.

Later on April 6 and following special diplomatic efforts by the Iranian officials, four of the five abductees were released and returned home after being held hostage for two months. The fate of the fifth soldier is still unknown.

We know what Iran is doing within Pakistan in collaboration with India and its new ally USA. People from a specific sect are being trained and launched from Iran to provoke sectarian war. Numerous Iranian sponsored target killers affiliated with "Sipah e Muhammad" were arrested in Karachi who were involved in killing Sunni Ulemahs. Political parties like MQM are sheltering these terrorists. On the other hand, India, USA and UAE are sponsoring some Sunni sectarian groups like Lashkar e Jhangavi and some others which are killing Shia Ulemmahs.

Its the duty of our Government to raise this issue with all the proofs on international forums and our armed forces should eliminate each and every terrorist from this Pak Sarzameen!

This is exactly what happens when you have the likes of Zardari and Nawaz in power. Every Tom Dick and Harry takes a shot on you and what do you do...........absolutely nothing. Shame on us for having this sham democracy and a fake government who is nothing but embarrassing to Pakistan.

Im getting the feeling that youre an indian troll.

Dude I live in Karachi and I have seen many Shia and Sunni doctors and civilians getting killed by these target killers. I have many Shias friend here and one of my best friend is Shia so I am not against them at all. But the fact is Sipha e Muhammad is a reality and Iran is sponsoring them is also a reality. I can't post links here because of restrictions but you can search on Google about it.

Pakistan don't have enough resources to secure long border along Iran. Smugglers, terrorist are huge problem in that region. But its big problem terrorist enter from Pakistan side kill the person and go back to Pakistan. Hopefully situation will calm down and controlled by both side.
