Iran and Afghanistan defence sub-forums

There is now India, Bangladesh, Turkey and China defence sub-forums. We can add Iran and Afghanistan defence sub-forums too. Both are brotherly neighbors and their affairs effects us more than others.

Afghanistan defence? What are you going to discuss in that sub-forum? They hardly got any potent military forces all that discussion can be held under the World Current Affairs too.

One has to wonder why ? May be too many pro-Iranian posts may rankle some pro-US and pro-Zionist members. Nonetheless Iran and Afghanistan are more important than other few sub-forum which I do not wish to name.

I had suggested the same for Iran not too long ago. The sole reason was that there are a large quantity of articles on Iran already present on this forum under different headings and having them accumulated and present under one sub-form would offer better organization.

We never asked for seperate defence section. Management realized it on their own. When time come, they will accommodate.

I dont think there is much to discuse about Afghanistan's defece. its air force is almost completely gone since the take over by mujahideen and it became worse during the taliban. it pretty much have not alot in other areas too apart from some rusty machinery. As per Iranian defence, yes it is a valid point.

There is more to discuss about Afghanistan than just defense. I have seen economic/social/political articles/discussion in other sub-forums dedicated to defense of some other countries.

Why not make a middle east sub forum? that way you can get in the arab countries as well along with Iran?
