The explaination by the IOC is very vague....

Apparently wrestling isnt "relevant" worldover?? and ******* golf and Ruby sevens is?
Most mother******* people cant even afford a decent set of golf clubs...let alone entry in a club....

Isnt the spirit of Olympics to highlight the martial and athletic tradition of the ordinary civilian? And how does golf ******* fall into that boat...RIDICULOUS!

Wrestling is what comes naturally to us from 3rd world countries....Wrestling with my cousins and friends is how I grew up..as did so many around me...
Its doesnt cost nothing and even the ordinary can get trainings in akharas and makeshift gyms...

This has been a true dissapointment...Screw you IOC!

Now think about a kid living in the rural areas of a developing country, where are the swimming pools and trainers? The tennis courts and trainers? The golf courses and trainers?

There could be hundreds of Sun Yang's or Ye Shiwen's in China capable of winning Gold medals for us at swimming, yet pass unnoticed due to a lack of such expensive facilities in the rural areas.

IOC should have priority for poor men sports. They should get rid of equestrian. It's a rich man sports. During the Beijing Olympic only Hong Kong had the facilities to keep their expensive horses. Even providing air conditioning for the horse ! How many poor countries can afford that.

Equestrian events are such bullsh*t, I saw some ridiculous one in 2012 where some rich British guys were getting their horses to jump over hoops in a certain pattern. Even their own countrymen would cry if they knew how much it cost to do all that.

During the Beijing Olympic only Hong Kong had the facilities to keep their expensive horses.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club, where dreams go to die. (They handle the betting, gambling and Mark Six lottery too).
