Requirement for Chabahar may be negated if India gets access to Gwadar too but the primary attraction of Chabahar is that it is not in a enemy territory hence mitigates a huge risk that Gwadar caries.

Chabahar is not just for Afghanistan but for all of Central Asia.

As if India is encircled from all sides by Pakistan. LOL



Bandar Abbas it will be the main port in INST corridor, Chabahar can be eventually linked to this project if needed.

Bandar Abbas is too crowded.

In the medium term Chabahar would replace Bandar Abbas for INSTC.

The route from from Chabahar would fork at Zahedan. One goes towards Mashhad and Central Asian while the other goes to Kerman and Russia/EU.

With all the sanctions, and economic blockade U.S.A and EU couldn't achive complete submission of Iran or North Korea, on the other had those nations still remain hostile towards the Yankees.

It's an Irony that yo guy's bring in army in almost discussions.

Our army only take orders, they are never a stake holder in governance and policy decisions unlike some of our neighbors. Moreover to bypass we don't even need the help of a private, let alone our entire army. The opens seas are no one's private property.

Karachi is handling whole Pakistan and Afghanistan..
Karachi Port cannot sustain further chinese pressure..

whereas Iran has more Ports compared to Pakistan. Bandar Abbas can handle Afghanistan.
