Boxing is encouraged in Pakistan, the Pakistani boxing team has participated in a number of international events.
But we should not get rid of Kabaddi because it is a part of Pakistani culture, just like sumo wrestling is a part of Japanese culture. Plus we can also say that cricket is outdated and a boring sport to watch.
I don’t see it as a part of Pakistani culture as it would then encompass all region within the country and I know for certain this so called sport isn’t played up North but to each their own I guess. Personally can’t stand it especially when Pakistani’s focus would be best put to other sport’s that are more internally renowned which will bring a greater financial reward for themselves and put a positive spotlight on the country.
Cricket can be boring especially test matches but in recent years they have moved on with time and modernized the game by introducing 20/20.
I just can't stand Kabbadi and don't see how a man would want to annihilate his own dignity by standing in boxer shorts while move side to side in a monkey motion shouting Kabbadi, Kabaddi, Kabaddi!
Yeah I’ve seen a couple Pakistani boxers especially Majid Khan and take a great interest in our prospects in Pakistan. Boxing is a sport that many Pakistani’s have a great potential in as there natural build especially Pashtuns, Punjabi’s and Northern Pakistani’s are suited heavily to the sport. Here in the U.K many Pakistani’s have taken to the sport and are present in great numbers in the amateur scene.
We should in the least focus and concentrate on sport’s like Football, Boxing and MMA!
hehehe well agree with you. kabadi kabadi kabadi lolzzzz
Haha! Exactly, it’s a sport when you see it for the first time your reactions are WTF is this crap, it’s sport played by retards!
sorry i pity u but foreigners like u will never understand the terms culture & roots of their motherland.
Listen freshie this sport is a snooze-fest and any fat idiot with half decent reflexes can play this sport. I rather we played American Football or Rugby then an idiotic game that looks similar to a game that children would play on the playground. Coming from a school which was brilliant in Rugby many of my team-mates were Pakistani’s and I know from competing against many different schools within the city Pakistani’s are suited to be successful in this sport!
