Anyway Khaja Nazimuddin was a urdu speaker. His family came from Kashmir only 100 years before 1952. So he ill advised Jinnah that Bengalis want Urdu. So Jinnah declared that Urdu would be the state language. But after Jinnah learnt the truth, Until his death he never opposed Bangla again. After His death Nazimuddin again propagated one state language Urdu which culminated into 1952.

Ok. One question. Can Bengalis survive through 21st century as a pure-Bangla speaker nation?
We Pakistanis under current circumstance canot. Although Urdu will remain but not of current type, but may be half Urdu and half English or may be Chinese. So why fighting for language.

Yes Brother. Bangla is very rich. We can run our country entirely on Bangla. Arabic for religion and English for foreign interaction. We are 98% Bengali.

Bengali is not only my language, It is my ethnicity and the name of my country Bangladesh means Land of Bengali speakers

My mother tongue is Syloti and Urdu. We speak Syloti in home while Urdu in religious affair like tafseer e Quran.

Load of bull crap. I'm not exiled. I was in Sylot couple years back. As we call your kind in Sylot, you are a Bengalir fua we are musalman er bacha because your akidah is corrupted. This is the reason we don't support intermarriage between Syloti and non Syloti.
