Ancient India extended from Afghanistan to Burma. No country has ever lost so much territory after world-war 2 as India did, in the form of Pakistan and Bangladesh. India only re-captured what it was it's own, never invaded any foreign territory.
So what Ancient Afghanistan extended from Afghanistan to New Delhi..whats your point? We cant be living in ancient times. Before British came there was nothing but independent states in south asia, British combined them all together saw the Indus river flowing through Punjab and Sindh and called their whole empire British India, you guys kept the name India without thinking where the Indus actually is (in eastern provinces of Pakistan) while Pakistanis chose a name for themselves...Pakistanis.
