Did you know that Bulgaria has been a part of the Ottoman empire for 500 years until 1908?
Did you know that Bulgaria is almost twice poorer than Turkey on per capita basis and they still got accepted into EU while Turkey did not?

Almost a year later. I'm back to the forums ) I personally think that I was supposed to get angered by that comment. Well, no. And we won independence in 1878, not 1908. And it's not Bulgaria's fault that you didn't get accepted into EU.
