I think they will drag it on till next election i.e. 1 more year and continue to deplete reserves. I think they will keep the prices low until Pakistan reaches Sri Lanka's position. There is no other solution. Increasing prices is political suicide for PML-N and PPP. Pakistan needs a hard default to be humble again and start with a new beginning.Finance minister sadly has no say in political matters. Subsidizing Petrol is insanity.
