Interest Rate 15%, 24 years broken in 2 weeks

Will you invest in Pakistan's debt? :pop:

The FM has promised IMF that PTI's subsidy on fuel will be rolled back. This should fix the CAD problem
Rolling back fuel subsidies will have political costs. Is a temporary government ready to pay that ?

Yes, this was declared by FM right after the meeting with IMF. If the fuel subsidies are not rolled back, then IMF program will be in jeopardy. With that, there will be bigger problems for the administration.

I think they will drag it on till next election i.e. 1 more year and continue to deplete reserves. Pakistan's problems have no solution until next govt is formed and the party which will form govt in next election will get a destroyed Pakistan economy and this cycle will keep repeating.

Finance minister sadly has no say in political matters. Subsidizing Petrol is insanity. But these guys were calling Imran anti-poor just few months back for letting petrol price go to this level. Now that he has capped price, these guys are unable to reverse that. Very interesting coming days for Pakistan.

I think they will keep the prices low until Pakistan reaches Sri Lanka's position. There is no other solution. Increasing prices is political suicide for PML-N and PPP. Pakistan needs a hard default to be humble again and start with a new beginning.
