Recent research, from British sources, has indicated that Hari Singh did not reach Jammu until the evening of 26 October and that, due to poor flying conditions, V P Menon was unable to get to Jammu until the morning of 27 October , by which time Indian troops were already arriving in Srinagar.

In order to support the thesis that the Maharaja acceded before Indian troops landed, Indian sources have now suggested that Hari Singh signed an Instrument of Accession before he left Srinagar but that it was not made public until later.

This was because Hari Singh had not yet agreed to include the Kashmiri leader, Sheikh Abdullah, in his future government. To date no authentic original document has been made available.

This is so called Treaty of Accession is a fraudulent and forged document, if you actually read the fraudulent document it is stunningly clear, it reads like an Indian script. Truth is there is no authentic Instrument of Accession signed by Hari Singh, nor was he present in Jammu on October 27, 1947 nor did he ever meet VP Menon.

Nonetheless, an entire generation of millions of people have been raised up on a lie about it's authenticity and actual existence, it is difficult to reason with minds so conditioned by their Government's indoctrination and lies. It is simply difficult and pointless to argue with people whose evidence and counter argument is a document that never really existed.

To this day no authentic Treaty of Accession with authentic signature has ever been shown nor produced for the world to see, and that is an indisputable fact.

Good that you refer BBC sources for your threads , but where has it proven that it is fraudulant ?? Truth and bottom-line is Maharajah did accede to India and not to Pakistan ! You can crib all you want that aint going to change the history nor the current boundary !!!

The evidence is no authentic Treaty of Accession exist. No original and authentic document, no authentic signature, and the mere fact Hari Singh wasn't in Jammu on Oct. 27, 1917, nor did he ever meet VP Menon is evidence. To this day no authentic Treaty of Accession has been shown nor produced for the world's eyes to see, because it doesn't exist.

In fact, it is physically impossible for Hari Singh to even have ever signed it, because he simply wasn't there.

If an authentic Treaty of Accession (subject to the fact which the article claims is fradulent), would Pakistan give up its claim on Kashmir and vacate the region it is now occupying?

I think Pakistan's position is clear and that is Pakistan supports an internationally monitored plebiscite on the Kashmir issue.

In the context of Pakistan's claim that there is a dispute over the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the accession issue forms a significant aspect of their argument.

By stating that the Instrument of Accession was signed on 26 October, when it clearly was not, Pakistan believes that India has not shown good faith and consequently that this invalidates the Instrument of Accession.

Indians argue, however, that regardless of the discrepancies over timing, the Maharaja did choose to accede to India and he was not under duress.

On the basis of his accession, India claims ownership of the entire state which includes the approximately one-third of the territory currently administered by Pakistan.

In 1949 Maharaja Hari Singh was obliged by the Government of India to leave the state and hand over the government to Sheikh Abdullah.

He died in Bombay in 1962.

That's your standpoint and similarly we have our own standpoint.... I don't want to go over the points already discussed in this forum on the preconditions of plebiscite as stipulated in the UN charter.

Everything points to the fact that no matter what needs to be done, needs to be done keeping the status-quo in mind and approaching the issue afresh.

Thank you for providing BBC as proof! Let what you are telling is 100% true! So what you want India to do now?

It's not just BBC, it's actual historical precedent. To this day no authentic so-called "Treaty of Accession" has been produced or shown to the world, that is an indisputable fact. No authentic and original ToA document exist. Besides, BBC is a better news source than the Indian Government.

Ok, What you want to do now? I don't get what is your intention!

yeah.. a lot of bollywood movies of the 90s copied dialogues from the actual happnings.
Indian RAW tied Hari Singh to a pillar and said.. ye jaidaad hamari hai.. in kagzaat par apna dastakath daalo..
the hari sngh said.. nahiiii.. aisa nahin ho sakta
RAW: hahahahha.. dastakath kar do verna... haahahah... "there will be a complicated contraption abou to cut him in two..."
Hari Singh.. : Par mein ye dastakath nahin kar sakta..
RAW: kyoon?
Hari Singh.. : kyonki mere haath bande hue hain..
RAW:oops !

thus the accession was signed by hari boy.

Bump as a reminder

No Instrument of Accession ever existed it is a total fraudulent scam.

Shove it! ;)

Next steps are clear to us. Haters are gonna go to their graves hating while India goes from strength to strength.

A US pastor again did something I predicted just yesterday.

And they still continue there...!

Till Pakistan and the Islamic world gets rid of them and crushes these stupid, brainwashed, obsessed haters, they are going to get more of what the pastor did yesterday.

We all know "kis totay ki gardan marodani hai" when some little fools get adventurous. ;)

Whether the accession document exists or not, it was Jinnah who sent tribal goons to attack Kashmir. Their rape and plunder forced the Maharaja to call India for help. If not for his greed , Kashmir would have been a much more peaceful place today. Who knows, the whole of Kashmir could have become a part of Pakistan and the Punjabi Taliban could have enjoyed killing and converting Buddhists, Hindus and Shias in the rest of Jammu & Kashmir too.
