Inside the ancient citadel of the Black Pharoahs which has pyramids to rival Egypt

. .
The Kingdom of Kush was inhabited by Nubian people, Semites and other Afro-Asiatic speaking peoples.
They had few connections with the rulers of ancient Egypt though.

Modern-day Northern Sudanese are basically a mixture of Middle Eastern people/Semites (Arabs) and Cushitic people. Genetics confirm this as well.

There is a world in difference between how an average Northern Sudanese looks like and how an average Congolese or native South African looks like. Or someone from Senegal (West Africa) for instance. It's like saying that all Middle Eastern people or Europeans are identical.

Same with the people of Horn of Africa (Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Djibouti) who like North Sudanese are a mixture of Middle Eastern Semites (Arabs and our pre-Islamic ancestors) and local Cushitic peoples.

No offense but it is not strange that a Kenyan is trying to propagandize the notion of all ancient civilizations in the Arab world being Black originally. I see it time and time again on the internet. Egypt and Sudan is "not all over the world" either.

I know that all of our ancestors are originally from Africa apparently and that the Black people might be proud of that (I see no reason to be that though) but let's not go overboard with such nonsense as I described above.

In any case very interesting monuments and Sudan has many such secrets. I hope that our brothers and sisters in Sudan will have a better future and present. Great people.

We had an Sudanese Arab here once he would even confirm the above.

And The egyptain pyramids are at least 2000 years older than these ones
How much do you know about Egyptian Pyramids? Im interested in this subject, particularly how the foundation looks like, how doest it support those huge blocks, is there only sand underneath?

I have seen lots of documentaries about the pyramids and non of them spoke about the foundations maybe because the pase of the pyramids is wide and can support the weight put on it. But almost all of them were fascinate by the fact that there are chambers and mazes In and under the pyramids and that they didn't collapse due to age and weight. which shows how smart and professional the design of the pyramids is also the fact that the top is right above the centre shows that these people were alot more advanced than what we think
and another thing the pyramids are actually 8 sided not 4 as most of us think

a comen mistake about the pyramids that people think they were built by slaves (jews) no they were built by egyptsins (found the tombs of the pyramids builders ) who instead of paying taxes to the pharaoh the worked in the pyramids during the annual flood and they were looked after (remains of cow, fish bones were found also jars of beer)

Better term should be Hebrews who believe in the God of Abraham.

@Hell NO

I personally know an Egyptian lady my age who is half Egyptian and half Nubian. How many Nubians are living in Egypt and are they not mainly based in Southern Egypt?

Lastly brother was Anwar Sadat half Northern Sudanese Arab or half Nubian?

Nubians live in the very south of egypt and there numbers aren't big I think they make up less than 10% of the egyptain people their skin colour culture and accent is closer to sudanness than Egyptian (Egypt is a mix of different races).
The Sadat think I didn't know about till now I always thought he was (فلاح )because of the accent but yes although he was born in lower egypt his family comes from upper egypt (just like my family)and his mother was Nubian another egyptain presedent with sudanness/Nubian roots was the first president
Muhammad Naguib (Probably because sudan and egypt used to be one Kingdom tell the40s )

Yes, the area of Southern Egypt (صعيد مصر) is quite mixed from what I recall. Arabs, Copts, Nubians and Beja people live there. Of course all Afro-Asiatic speaking peoples but nevertheless interesting.

Yes, Egypt and Sudan was once a united Kingdom. (ملك مصر والسودان‎).

If I am not mistaken Sa'idi Arabic is quite similar to Northern Sudanese Arabic and it also has similarities with Hijazi Arabic due to the geographic proximity, historical ties and migration.

This is why people of Hijaz and the people of Egypt and Sudan have zero problems with understanding each other. In the case of Hijazi Arabic it is mutually interchangeable with not only Masri/Sudani but also nearby Shami and Yemeni. Similar with Egyptian Arabic. I also say that Egyptian Arabic is a more widespread/famous dialect of Hijazi Arabic, lol.;)

That guy is a joke. :disagree:

Ya, indeed he is. A blight on the nation!

btw, if you want, start a pyramids thread, not the usual stuff, but discussions on it's base, foundations, build techniques. I'll contribute and hopefully learn something new as well.

I would be most interested in debate how many ancient civilizations decided on this building type, even when separated by time and seemingly inpassable oceans.
