Th gesture is a message that no more special flights please. Pakistan and USbilateral ties have reached a new low primarily due President Donald Trump tweet.

Refusing the US Military Attache to leave country is yet another example.

The officials have said that the US diplomat, Col Joseph Hall, who is serving as defense attache in the US Embassy in Islamabad, was looking to fly out of the country in a special plane which arrived in Nur Khan Air Base from Bagram airfield in Afghanistan.

The source further added that the FIA officer on duty after finding out that it was Col Hall, held back his passport and sought directions from his high-ups, according to a source. The permission for Col Hall to leave was not granted and the special aircraft returned to Bagram at around 4pm.

The US Embassy in Islamabad has not commented regarding the report so far.

The aircraft did not arrive without prior notification and if the due clearance has not been awarded..then what is the point of sending such a big aircraft..looks like a begging game to me...as in the case of Raymond Davis..

Use your mind... FIA guy didn't know that it is for the bastard colonel. Otherwise he would have let him leave. Yankee assholes lied about its purpose..what's so difficult to understand?

Are there no checks and balances on who enter Pakistani airspace and for what purpose?

Did America lied about the reason for the aircraft to land on Noor Khan airbase or Pakistani side simply get caught with their pants down with their usual casual attitude? If the FIA official was sleeping as well, this could have been an utterly shambolic episode.

This should not have come to this with American aircraft waiting on Pakistani soil to whisk away the criminal. There is a lot that need to be sorted with our dealings with America.

WTH. of course they lied...what do you expect they told that we are coming to evacuate the bastard?

It is a wake up call. These Yankee @$$holes can do just about anything. It is a good thing the official was sharp and intervened at the right time, but we need to learn from this episode. The Yanks flew a mammoth plane from their hideout in Afghanistan into Pakistan. It obviously had a major purpose. I hope the bells were ringing at the higher levels even before this plane touched the tarmac.

The Yanks are looking for a fight. They are looking for confrontation. Their man has killed one of our citizens and now they want him to flee. We must make every darn effort to punish this guy. Keep him locked in Pakistan even if it takes another 100 years. Don't let him flee and drag this on. The killer must face the law. No ifs and buts. This is now a matter of principle. We cannot let the Yanks walk over us. If this killer is allowed to walk away the Americans will be emboldened and continue to murder under the garb of immunity. They have done it before and got away. This cannot happen for a second time.

Has this been confirmed officially that American indeed lied about the purpose of that C130 flight? If so, from now on, there have to be strict protocols for any American military aircraft entering Pakistani airspace.

The real question that should be asked is who was killed. What was his name and who was he working for? Over the past year, it seems like the Americans have been trying to get rid of "loose ends" if you know what I mean.

This is not normal for foreign diplomats to "accidentally" kill some "random person" on the road.

Pray tell, how "they" convinced the biker to line up in front of that car at that exact moment in time?
