Yes they have the freedom to charge extra fees, but still the thing in question is overflight fees (~779 million) which will not include you other charges. You slow or what ?

I am certain that the prime objective(s), of this space closure, is not at all to put some financial burden on India. Therefore, most of the discussion, carried out on this thread, to me, is off the point. I believe that Pakistan is demonstrating to the world at large that such unilateral aggressive actions by India against Pakistan would have implications, for others as well. Second aspect, of course is that, with this closure, the choices of modes of retaliation, in case of any future Indian aggression, are far more.
