If you stay in a chopper, you are actually moving with earth. Only the space outside earth is stationary.

Perhaps you're familiar with the idea of inertia: an object in motion tends to stay in motion (unless acted upon by a net external force). In a way, we can also refer to this idea as conservation of momentum. That idea's going to play a big part in answering your question.

When the helicopter starts out, it's sitting on the ground and the ground (being part of the Earth) is rotating at one revolution per day, as we know. Since the helicopter is also sitting on the ground, it's also inside this moving reference frame, and has the momentum that goes with it so the helicopter is also moving at one revolution per day. In fact, so is the air! Now, when the helicopter takes off, it flies straight up to some height above the Earth's surface. But though the helicopter has exerted a force (through the use of its rotors) to lift it straight up, it hasn't exerted a force in the horizontal direction to counter the motion (momentum) it already had that one revolution per minute!

So though the helicopter is no longer touching the ground, unless the pilot purposely exerts a force against the helicopter's initial momentum, the helicopter will continue to move at one revolution per day, and thus remain above the same spot on the Earth's surface from where it took off.

The momentum that the helicopter started with is the same as what it ends with that's conservation of momentum! The same is true on a smaller scale when you jump in the air if you jump straight up, you'll land exactly where you started, because in every other direction (except up and down), your momentum is the same (try it out the next time you're on a plane: the plane acts like a miniature version of the Earth, and when you jump, you land right where you were, even though the plane's going 500 miles an hour!).

On a larger scale, rocket scientists have to account for the motion of the Earth before they launch a satellite. In order to put the satellite into a specific orbit, they can't just shoot it straight up from the Earth's surface. They have to apply horizontal forces as well, in order to counter the Earth's rotation and get the satellite into the correct orbit.

There is some people who love spreading fake news (with today's technology) and the other one is easy to believe without searching the truth or don't use their brain (Critical thinking)
You can also add Poor quality standard of Education in some countries.

no bro that's not how it works.
the earths atmosphere is tightly packed and everything inside it's atmosphere will spin along with the earth. if you hover above the ground in an helicopter it will stay in one place spinning along the earth and will not take you some place else, i know this is difficult to understand but here's an example to simplify this, suppose you are driving your car at 100 km/h and there's a bug/bee inside your car, now a bug cannot fly at the speed of 100 km/h but it will if your car windows are closed making an atmosphere of it's own, it's the same basic principle with the Earth but at a large scale.

Honestly, they come to Confront Indonesian space agency (Lapan) to telling the "truth" that Earth is Flat instead of round.
Not to be educated at all.

I have met this kind of people, they purpose is only to spread and challenge other people who don't have same opinion with them, not asking for educated nor searching the truth of Sciences.

The main problem in here is not those stupid people, but lack of Sciences Knowledge in our (Indonesia) general education standard.

The flat earth believer in Indonesia is not much, comparing to total percentage of Indonesian population. Even people from more advanced education system such as USA who had sent people to space and moon still got people like this in large number, and so with other countries like UK, Germany, Russia and so on. This much more about ideology and human perception than with the lack of standard of education system in any country. Why they getting traction more in democratic country? It is because the freedom of expression is more prevalent in democracy system than in authoritarian state system, as long as they dont break the law they can expressing their point of view and thought althought as stupid and idiotic as this one. One can only respect their freedom and rights.
