As China getting stronger day by day, situations of Chinese all over

the world will being safer, any country will have to think twice before

doing the same crime against Chinese again.

The pictures he posted were not even some of the worst I had come across. It merely gives a foretaste of what's in store for many, if not most people should anarchy follow "Balkanization" in the name of democracy, socialist brotherhood, the queen, the emperor, the co-prosperity sphere ...

Nothing too different from Rwanda, Bosnia, or Iraq, except that in Iraq, the fate was a little more imposed than induced ...

If I have to give myself a secular label, I would say I am a "Hobbesian" above anything else. And so are a majority of the Chinese or world population - including Indonesians, I believe.

"Payback" is a loose term and can come in many formats. The one you likely had in mind I really don't think is realistic, or necessarily desirable. After all, considering the CCP's role in fomenting "revolutions" in Indonesia in the very first place in the 1950s, who is responsible for what is not always "crystal clear".

I came across some analysis that implied that the ethnic Chinese that were butchered in Indonesia 11 years ago were more-or-less 遗老遗少 of the "Pro-Taiwan/ROC/KMT" folks. Their "leftist"/pro-CCP counterparts were liquidated decades ago ...

On top of that, their position as the "market-dominant" ethnic miniorities sure didn't help. There was a strong scent of class struggle manifesting as religious conflict ...

Now since the PRC has essentially squeezed out Taiwan/ROC from every diplomatic crevice, many of the Chinese-Indonesians with KMT sympathies really had nowhere to turn when the proverbial brown stuff hit the fan.

Incidently, I have strongly favoured 两个中国 or 一中一台 - even as I was still in China nearly two decades ago. These events just reinforced my view. It's best to leave Taiwan alone in a "managed", non-acrimonious state. A political union is simply putting "too many eggs in one basket" - a very bad basket at that, too.

I could never forget my first year here in Canada when I attended an "innercitiesh" high school for two semesters. Every son or daughter of so-called Vietnamese "boat-people" I came across turned out to be an ethnic Chinese-Vietnamese refugee, who was essentially pushed out to sea after the CCP waged war on Vietnam on behalf of Pol Pot!

The history of the CCP selling out / trampling on the welfare of overseas Chinese (sometimes 借刀杀&#20154 is simply 磬竹难书 ...

With such background in mind, no wonder these people turned to Singapore rather than to the PRC.
