Impossible to talk with china because they refuse to negotiate on the 7.75 km2 of the Paracels archipelagos. The Chinese took the eastern Paracels in 1956, in 1959 they tried to take the Western half of the Paracels but was repelled. However, in 1974 they successfully took the Western part of the Paracels and control them all. All non-Vietnamese that I have come across don't know that the conflict between Vietnam and china is not about the Spratly, but most of it is about the Paracels.

Whoever control the southern most rock in SCS, won't have any over lapping border with Indonesia because that rock in the middle of the ocean won't have EEZ. But China keep insisting to drag Indonesia into the conflict.

Its hard for Indonesia to be neutral and balance relationship with world major power, China keep pushing Indonesia to US orbit meanwhile at the same time US try to pull Indonesia to their side.

Ladakh was historically an extension of Tibet , the Indo-Sindh civilization was not part of the Eastern sect of what is now referred as Jammu & Kashmir, those areas has been always administered by Tibet, inhabited by Tibetans, under Chinese empire.
