Indonesia partners with China on South China Sea

I am curious about Indonesia's position on this. Can you elaborate further please, who would Indonesia get more close to in the future? US led West and their Pivot to Asia (US, Australia, Japan, India, Vietnam and Philippines) or China. Or Indonesia will keep charting neutral course not swinging one way or the other?

What about role of ASEAN integration, if any, in this regard, specially considering China's close geographic proximity and emerging road, high speed rail connectivity to this ASEAN region.

Just trying at our best to keep the status quo, while maintaining our boundary lines in the sea keep safe from their encroachment. I my self has an opinion, i don't wish to see any conflict between Indonesia and any country in region. We had building our respective countries for so long, any conflict will bring us more harm than any good. But we are ready and trying at best to face and tackle any imminent threat from hostile power.
