What's new

Indonesia initiates safeguard probe of RMG import

Nine ? I thought there were 3 genders and the rest 6 or 7 were sexual orientations / preferences... ?

Too much to process

Things will get more confusing with time, not less.

@DalalErMaNodi the sexual preferences are considered now as genders.

Male, female, Lesbian, Gay, mostly male with female parts, mostly female with male parts, males who wear female clothes (transvestites or permanent drag queens), females who wear male clothes (butch folks), etc. etc. ad infinitum. Thing is, back in the day these people were regarded as 'perverts' and out of the 'norm'. Nowadays - they must be awarded their respect for whatever behavior they choose to exhibit. New world.

@Nike please take our apology, this has nothing to do with you. We just got off on a tangent, that is all.

Unfortunately, the biggest dumb arse here is Pakistan since it allows Bangladesh to import its cotton, upto 70% of its need, from Central Asia by providing transit route. One cannot get any dumber than Pakistan's corrupt ruling Establishment.

I suggest you set this right, please lobby with your govt to stop this unfair practice.

There is no reason, Pakistan cannot use the all the cotton herself, and weave/knit it into dress shirts and polo shirts.

However you know as well as we do why its not happening, and we Bangladeshis have no hand in deciding that or changing current situation. No need for d*ck measuring, tax incentives and policy support go a along way in helping investments, whether in textiles or other industrial sectors.

Ask Pakistani govt. why we can set up textile infra that exceeds Pakistan's capabilities, while your businessmen has issues with same. Bangladesh exceeded Pakistani weaving capacity in 2012.

By the way, Bangladesh has plenty of other sources to import raw cotton, including ones from India and China.
