I didn't say the Chinese government should intervene at that time (btw what you said was reasonable regarding Chinese Indonesian and internal affair). What I meant was Chinese government is now "friendly" to a country which had gang raped, hacked to death, tortured, strangled, cut up in pieces of people with Chinese blood ONLY 15 years ago.

BCz we have many wars plus US's sanction until 1988, so we need time the heal the wound first.

you are right. Mighty Indonesia is richer than Vietnam.

I hope Indonesia currency (-20%) and bourse index (+1%) can strengthen soon, otherwise weak Vietnam could overtake you in the near future (currency -0.1%) and (bourse index +32%). A weak Indonesia is a disaster for ASEAN, especially for VN as we record trade surplus with Indonesia.

no, we are not forgiving, at least based on what we know about 1998 in Indonesia. This forum only represents a few one's thoughts, they are fearful that they would lost allies on this forum, that's all. Most Chinese don't think so.

Read ur Vietnamese newspager, 2013.10.17 China government signed with Vietnam government to setup China Confucism College in Hanoi National University.

The China governmen provide Confucism funds and GuangXi Normal University provide Chinese teachers and Vietnamese foreign students training, ur Vietnam Hanoi National University provide classrooms.

When the founding father of China, Sun Yat Sen went overseas pleading for financial supports to the cause of overthrowing the Qing, the overseas Chinese, be them US citizens, Canadians, British, French, Indonesians, Malays donated.
