hank you for your very sensible post, but there is a cavil or two. Maybe 'Pakistan is just calmly waiting', but then, we have to conclude that PDF is not Pakistan. The last thing one can say about PDF is that its membership is calmly waiting.

I never said they are uS sourced. May be just a delegation to persuade govt not to escalate the matter or something like that. What else do you think a US dept of energy plane was doing in pakistan for 3-4 hours.

Of course. But in china-india border, China can handle situation by himself. India makes tension with China, Pakistan and Nepal at the same time. Indian shity organizational capability will make itself act rushly, just like pee in the street.

could be a number of reasons not just nuke, its your typical Ganga imagination, we are not in a state of war with India, nor we have conducted any meeting Of Nuclear command authority or threatening to use on India. LOL

It is precisely what the US and India want Pakistan to do that. To escalate in Kashmir and as soon as that happens US being cheap mediator will come with UN forces over Kashmir area and say these are two Nuke rivals and war should be avoided with them as Pakistan doesn't have depth and will lower the nuke threshold so they will come with UN stop the clashes /war and then since this is disputed they will stop the road world of CPEC cutting through that region as a whole of that is disputed.

China has restraint Pakistan since last year from making any move that will endanger the cpecs integrity, hence Pakistan is just calmly waiting. whereas china can easily deal with India and put immense pressure on them without affecting the status quo. IF you look Bejineg thinks tanks theyre saying this all because of revocation of article 370.

This is main point that everyone here is missing
