The Bigger Picture is far simpler. Its COVID19 and China has far far more things to worry than an isolated even of Doklam.

Whatever happened in Doklam (no idea) probably does have something to do with this but with Nepal on China's side, it wont take Bhutan too long to succumb to Chinese pressure if things flare up too much.
