Well, you are right to a certain extent...But you should know that more money is pumped in infrastructure and energy. If we curtail every aspect of spending and concentrate on the poor, the middle class will eventually go poor. There should be a balance. Security is important too and so are the poor. And neither should be overlooked. This investment in AC is very less compared to what is already being spent for the upliftment of poor in India. So, targeting it would not be just be unwise but will also be ignorance of the facts. And if you are so against it, I suggest you post your grievance on this website :: Grievance Redress Mechanism in Government :: , instead of vehemently protesting about defence develpoment on a defence-related website.

Government is not injecting public funds into Energy and Infrastructure(It was done for 2 years only 2010-2012) and rest of funds are raised through initial capital infuse by L&T, Reliance, Gammon India etc and it gets charged back in hefty amount through tolls and tax. This where middle class hit more.
If you look at the security, could you please tell me one domain where we are secure and safe? Be it Army, Navy, AF, Intelligence, Communication N/W, Secured Access, N/W centric capabilities etc
Everything is messed up starting from a soldier.
Regarding my grievance, I have put several complaints and queries to Rashtrapati Bhawan(Online complaint), PMO office etc but they keep on redirecting to concerned office and being honest, I have not got reply on even a single issue.

Regarding this site: It also contains no of different section like world affairs, political issue etc and you can't limit other factors too

Well most of the modern battle ships have EMP shielding. THe whole electronics that are placed inside a metal casing helps a lot to defeat an EMP attack. But the EMP frequency from a nuclear blast is too high for any protection existing for now.

If it hits the superstruture ie. The command center of the ship and takes out essentialy it's brain the Ship is Knocked out!

Well the Construction of the IAC has provided a lot of jobs and a lot of money has been invested in Research. A lot of innovation has been made and many spin-offs like steel and electronics have helped the people on the whole. So you want all the scientists working in DRDO and the other research facilities to be disbanded?

So what kind of jobs do you want them to do...go and start farming?

How an AC is useful for India?

we should have diverted this money to feed poors...

India is not banana or rough state who spend most share of their budget on Defence. Every sector got their own share to spend & nobody outsource or insource their fund other sector. We didn't divert money of defence sector to civil sector so that we neither divert civil sector fund to defence sector.

This ACC insure the sea route safe for Indian maritime interest for growth of India. More growth means more money means reducing poverty day by day.

After disband defence sector I think your next plan would be disband Police system

So it means the country has declared a nuclear war against the country with the CBG. So the SSBNs lurking underwater will start launching a nuclear strike against the mainland. This is how it will turn out to be. So it is going to be a nuclear slugfest. Remember all the countries with a CBG have a nuclear umbrella.

Of course why not? Why we already much less /hectare crop production wrt china and pakistan. Noticing steep hike in pricing, we are in a dire need of 2 green revolutions.

An AC was ofcource in India's favour , no country should compromise it's defence!
